Why was I asked to pay customs charges?

Photobox is working closely with the carriers to avoid any VAT charges on delivery. We also strive to deliver your order to you as soon as possible which means that we use several carriers to spread our deliveries.
Unfortunately, some carriers (for example Parcelforce) operate under different rules and, on some occasions (when your order value reaches a certain amount), you may be asked to pay the customs fees.

To get your order as soon as possible, please pay the amount the carrier company is asking for, keep the receipt and then reach out to our Customer Care team via email (attaching the receipt) and they will be able to refund these fees.

We apologise if this situation happens and for any inconveniences it may cause.
