How can I check if my photo will be printed with good quality?

A digital image is made of several dots, pixels. To be able to print and enlarge an image, a certain number of pixels is required to achieve a good quality print and avoid the image appearing pixelated.

When ordering a print we'd therefore recommend that you pick a print size that fits the resolution of your image. To check the pixel resolution of your image, right-click on your image file if using a PC, or CTRL-click using a Mac, then select "Properties" and "Details".

Photo resolution guide:
You can compare this to our lowest recommended image dimensions for our available print sizes:

To help you when placing your order, we'll also show you a warning if the resolution of your image is too low and the print may be blurry. A green smiley face indicates a great quality print, and an unhappy red face a poor quality print.

If you see an orange or red smiley, you can decide whether you want to remove the item or order a smaller size for better print quality.
